Tagalog Project Delays

By Tom Castor | May 27, 2017 |

Completing a good translation is a bit more complicated than hitting “translate” on a Google screen. In fact, a good translation will go through a process that includes an initial translation, field testing, data gathering, and multiple revisions.

Sometimes, part of the process includes unexpected delays.

We first began the Tagalog translation project in September of 2013. While early versions of the book have been available as an electronic document for two years, we were hoping to release the print version in March of 2017. Now, because of some unexpected complications with the group who was to deliver the books, we have hit the PAUSE button once again. We are hoping that the project can be completed before the end of 2017, but we will keep you posted.

Although the printing project has been delayed, the translation is complete and is available online on the A Simple Word website [HERE].
