Travel Guide to the Bible: A Book Review by Cara

As we have explained many times, we write our books with a specific audience in mind. People who are new to the English language and who have little or no previous exposure to the Bible. Our target readers are adults whose interest in learning English we see as an opportunity to introduce them to the Bible and the God of whom the Bible speaks.
That said, we have been quite surprised and pleased at how God has chosen to use the book to help people outside that target audience.
A few days ago, we received a review of our book, Travel Guide to the Bible. This is our introduction to the Bible that includes a short chapter on each book. The reviewer is Cara, age 12. Here is the review in its entirety.

Age 12Travel Guide To The Bible
By Tom Castor
My dad came back from a trip to Orlando. He was meeting up with a bunch of missionaries and met one named Tom Castor. He taught English in Vietnam. He wrote a book that was easy enough to read for someone who had learned English for about a year called, Travel Guide To The Bible. This book took each book of the Bible and very easily explained what it was about, in 1 or 2 pages. I read this book and it was amazing and very easy to read. I had never really understood what the Old Testament was about. This book told me every single detail that I needed to know about what happened during that time period. I really liked how it explained everything without confusing me. I was surprised at how simple it was to read.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a simple and easy way to see the Bible, loud and clear.
Thank you Cara for such a generous endorsement. We will make certain that you receive all of our future publications for review!
