Over 100 million people in the world speak German. It is the 11th Most Spoken language in the world – making German one of about twenty categorized as “world languages.” But until now, German was one of the languages conspicuously missing from the languages in which you could read the “little book” – Simple Truths.
In April, at the recent Gospel Coalition National Conference in Indianapolis, the decision was made to rectify that omission. Paul Stewart, whose company Teutoniq produces professional translations for businesses exporting goods to worldwide markets, agreed to manage the project. After initial translation, amendments, final checking, and proofreading stages, the German translation of Simple Truths is now online for free download.
German is spoken primarily in Germany, Belgium, Austria, and Switzerland. However, there are significant populations of German-speakers in Paraguay, Costa Rica, Argentina, and Namibia. Anyone with contacts in those communities is encouraged to send them the link below for access to the material.
