By Tom Castor | March 19, 2019 | News
Clear and Simple Media continues to look for ways to put our material into the hands of grass roots pastors and church leaders. On March 18 -22 Tom will travel to Brazil. While there, he will be working with members of the faculty of South American Theological Seminary in Londrina. During the visit, the team will do further field-testing and editing of the Portuguese translation of Simple Truths. They will also identify translators to begin work on a new Portuguese translation of the Travel Guide to the Bible.
Why Brazil? Brazil is the 5th largest country in the world. Why Portuguese? Portuguese is the sixth most natively spoken language in the world (230 million native speakers). Two hundred and sixty million people speak the language worldwide. Most Portuguese speakers live in Brazil, Portugal, and Angola.
