NOT SO Simple Workbook Nears Completion
By Tom Castor | September 6, 2021 | News
We are often asked, in a sentence or two, to summarize the work of Clear and Simple Media. We have developed a few, short sentences to help us do that. One is, “We write books and tell stories in simple English.” The other, and most often used, is; “We help people read the Bible and help them understand what they read.” It is under the banner of that last sentence that we have been working diligently on a set of workbooks to compliment our two longest books; Travel Guide to the Bible, and Simple Answers to NOT SO Simple Questions.” Both of these books are available for download at no cost HERE. And soon, workbooks filled with more than 1,500 reading comprehension questions based on the books, will be available on our sites as well.
While the first workbook (Travel Guide to the Bible) was published the first week in July, the second workbook (Simple Answers to NOT SO Simple Questions) has just completed final edits and field testing. We are pleased to announce that both of these workbooks will be available for download by September 15.
As we mentioned regarding the first workbook, a project like this requires meticulous attention to detail and a great deal of patience. Special thanks go to Sandra Day of Winnipeg, Canada and Leah Seier of Estill Springs, Tennessee for helping to craft and edit the questions. We are also grateful to the many test-readers who examined portions of the manuscript before it was published. Special thanks to our designer, Jason Chittum of EC Design. Jason not only designed the original book, but created a workbook design that is both visually appealing and easy to navigate.
The books will soon be available for free download on our A Simple Word website.
