For the past weeks, we have been working to provide books for Ethiopian Church-planters in the Tigrigna (Tigriyna) language. That process included identifying the books that would be most helpful, finding a competent translator, completing the translation, proofreading the text, creating the book layout, transferring the work to the printer, printing the books, and delivering the books to the places where they are needed.

All of those steps take time. All are littered with potential challenges. And because of those challenges, navigating that maze can be extremely rewarding.

If you would like to trace the beginnings of the Tigrigna project, follow the link HERE.

Two weeks ago, Tigrigna leaders received delivery of the Tigrigna versions of The Jesus Story and The Simple Truths. They immediately began distributing, organizing evangelism efforts, and teaching discipleship classes using these new tools.

The pictures may be a bit blurry, but our partners in East Africa report that their enthusiasm is crystal clear.
