A few weeks back, we posted news of the printing of 1,000 copies of the Travel Guide in the Mizo-Chin language. Mizo-Chin is spoken in Chin State and Sagaing Regions of Myanmar, with significant numbers of speakers in the Manipur, Tipura, and Maghalaya States as well. Mizo is also the official language of Mizoram in India.

We have had an effective partnership with our friend Rova (nickname) for years. We have given him permission to sell the books, give away the books, and reprint the books as he sees how the books would best advance the kingdom. The profits from the sale of books are placed into an account to fund additional press runs in the future. Because Rova is very well networked throughout Myanmar in the evangelical community, he has been responsible for the widespread distribution of the books across the region. Here is his latest update:

Tom,
I am doing well. Thanks. The books will be distributed in many different ways. We plan to sell all of them. We will put some of them at Christian book stores in different places across the country. We will bring some of them to different churches, and some of them to different Bible schools. And we will also send some copies to Mizoram, India. We believe and pray that the books will be welcomed and received by lay people, Bible students and pastors and missionaries. Most of the Christians in churches in Myanmar are badly in need of the books to help them know what the Bible teaches for there is no other book like yours. As I introduced the book to some of my friends and students, they are really happy to hear that there will be a book like this that simply and clearly guides the new readers of the Bible to clear understanding of the teaching of the Bible. Actually, your book is simple but very clear in its teaching.

Please continue to pray for Rova and the believers in Myanmar (formerly Burma). The military government has made life throughout the country quite difficult. And remember the Mizo-speaking church as they seek to reach the nearly 1,000,000 Mizo speakers for Jesus.
