Kenyan Soccer Players Receive CSM Books

Kenyans love football (soccer). With that in mind, several Christians in Nairobi organize soccer tournaments as gospel opportunities. And the results have been quite encouraging.
Marwa Mwikwabe is our primary partner in Kenya. He is widely known for his work as a translator for The Timothy Initiative (TTI) throughout East Africa. His reputation as a credible Christian witness often leads to him being asked to share the gospel at various events. This recent soccer tournament (pictured here) is one example. Marwa not only shared Christ with the players, but many who heard about Jesus that day would also receive The Jesus Story in Swahili. A few days later, he shared this brief report.
Mr. Tom,
I am in a local soccer tournament. I have been invited to share the gospel with the players. I will also be sharing our books with them. When we finished the junior soccer tournament, and I had preached to the players, many of them gave their lives to Christ.
After the tournament, I issued our books to all of them.
Marwa
God is using the Swahili and English books in East Africa. It has been humbling to hear reports from Kenya and Nigeria of dozens of people coming to Christ when our books have been distributed. It has been incredibly encouraging.
