CONVERGE Conference leads to new translation projects

Clear and Simple Media is a partner ministry of the Baptist General Conference of Canada. The BGC of Canada shares common historical roots with what was once known as the Baptist General Conference of the US – now CONVERGE.

June 26-28, CSM had the opportunity to share in a three day conference with the International Ministries personnel of CONVERGE at Bethel University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In addition to enjoying excellent plenary sessions and helpful break-outs on multiple topics, one of the highlights of the time together was the conversation and dialogue that such a conference creates.

After hearing stories of how God is at work in places like Jordan, Senegal, Myanmar, Cameroon, Brazil, and among the millions of displaced people who are part of the modern Diaspora, we shared some of what is happening with Clear and Simple Media in a variety of regions around the world. As a result of that talk and several follow-up conversations, CSM has taken the initial steps that we are confident will lead to translations of Simple Truths in at least three new languages ~ Japanese (Diaspora and Japan), Karen (Diaspora and Myanmar), and Wolof (Diaspora and Senegal).

Look for updates on all of these projects in the days ahead.
