Collaboration Makes the World Go ‘Round

Those who have been looking in on these news briefs for any length of time know one of the basic principles that has become critical to what we do. In one word: collaboration.

We have been able to see our books translated into 70 languages and distributed in many parts of the world because God has brought partners into our ministry world. These people hear about us (somehow) and make the appropriate connections. We communicate, negotiate, evaluate – and pray. And before long, new translations are completed, books are printed, distribution is done, disciples engage with the people who have the books, and God’s kingdom grows in both breadth and depth.

What follows is a correspondence that illustrates how things have worked.

We received an inquiry from Africa. We referred the email to Marwa Mwikwabe (our partner/champion in East Africa). He connected with the inquirer, and the process is off and running. Although we are still working through the details, I thought you might be interested in eavesdropping to see how some of these projects get started.

Once we get these, we shall proceed to discuss the timelines for printing and shipping logistics in more detail.
