Brief Update from Kenya (and Burkina Faso)

Partnerships make the world of missions work. Marwa Mwikwabe, our partner in Kenya, has been coordinating translation, printing, and outreach projects in his home country, Kenya, as well as projects in Ethiopia, Mali, and Nigeria. His work has led to new efforts in Swahili and Hausa, and to broad impact in English-speaking parts of Africa. And now, thanks to Marwa and our partner Dieudonné in Burkina Faso, we are involved in new projects supporting Compassion International in both countries.
Here is a note we received from Marwa over the past few days. The distribution of the books seems to be of benefit wherever they go, for which we thank God.
Tonight, we dispatch 1,000 copies of Simple Truths and the Jesus Story, both in English and Swahili, to Compassion International-supported projects in western Kenya.
The books will be used by children who are beneficiaries of the Compassion Discipleship projects.
Marwa

And from Dieudonné in Burkina Faso.
Hi Dad,
I hope you are well. The distribution of booklets is well gone. Everyone was very happy. You are thanked.
Many expressed the need; among them are the team leaders of the International Compassion Organization. In each of their centers, they have more than 250 children. They wish to distribute this booklet to children and teach them from it.
The Compassion people need more than 2000 copies of Simple Truths in French. There are more than 400 Compassion Projects in Burkina Faso. More than half involve over 250 children each.
Please pray for Marwa and Dieudonné, and all of those who will receive the books in the days ahead. And please accept our gratitude for your generosity that make these projects possible.
