Books and Website soon to be available in Arabic

According to most linguists, over 300 million people in the world speak Arabic. More than 80% of these speakers are Muslim.

In an attempt to reach many of these people with the gospel, Clear and Simple Media has begun to engage in strategic partnerships with ministries that are well networked in that world. To make our materials more useful to ministries that focus on the Muslim world, we have decided to take on two major translation initiatives.

The Travel Guide to the Bible is our introduction to the Bible for new Bible readers. The chapters are short. The content assumes that the readers have no previous exposure to the Christian Bible. The book is now available in English, French and will soon be available in Spanish. To help those ministries who are trying to reach the 1.8 billion Muslims in the world, we have decided to launch a new translation of the book in Arabic.

Because the Travel Guide makes up nearly half of the content on our A Simple Word website, we have decided to extend the translation project to include the entire site. When we complete the project, we will launch an Arabic version of the A Simple Word website to provide an additional tool for Muslim focused ministries.

We are still calculating the cost of translation, field-testing, and publication. While we know that this will require significant resources, we feel that the potential impact is well worth the price.
