Arabic Project Sees Steady Progress

Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.

In December, we sent our book, the Travel Guide to the Bible, to a translation team in Egypt. Their goal was to translate the book into Arabic by the end of April. Our most recent conversation with our contact for the translation assures us that the project is progressing on schedule.
Once the Travel Guide translation is completed, the book will be sent from Egypt to Call of Love Ministries in Ohio. Call of Love manages a satellite television station which broadcasts Christian programming via satellite to all of the Arab world. The Call of Love team will check the translation and make any needed edits. After corrections have been made, the book will be ready for layout and design.
While all of this is happening, a creative team will be storyboarding concepts for television broadcasts based on the Arabic text of the book. Although complications caused by the disruption of the pandemic have required some alterations to the original plans, we should have a sense of the production calendar for the programs by early June.
Thank you again to all of those members of our support team who have made this project possible.
Please pray that the translation will need minimal changes and that we can connect with the people best able to do the design and layout of the book. Pray also for the creative team that will be preparing the programs for broadcast.
