Amharic, Nepali, and Punjabi languages added to A Simple Word resources

Translators completed three of the nine new lanaguage projects earlier this week. The new books should be available before June 2 at the A Simple Word website under the DOWNLOADS link.

Amharic is a primary language in Ethiopia. There are more than 22,000,000 speakers worldwide with over 200,000 living in the United States and Canada.

Nepali is the national language of Nepal. More than 12,000,000 speakers in Nepal and just under 3,000,000 in India.

Punjabi is the primary language of the Indian state of Punjab. There are nearly 30 million Punjabi speakers in India. Figures vary, but most estimate that there are more than 200,000 Punjabi speakers in North America.
